• To measure the cylinder lock exactly it is advantageous to dismount it (as described ion the
previous page).
• Measure, starting from the bore, (1) the inside (A) and the outside (B) of the cylinder lock.
• To obtain the dimensions of the cylinder lock to be bought new, add the stated 8 mm to 15 mm
to the inside measurement (A) as long as the cylinder lock was exactly flush with the internal
door fitting).
If, for example, your cylinder lock has the dimensions 40mm/40mm, you require a cylinder
lock with the standard dimensions 50mm/40mm. The cylinder lock will then project after being
replaces 10mm which is ideal for mounting the door lock actuator.
