Mass Storage
Your Heat can act as a USB disk drive—16 MB of memory is set aside to store
documents, spreadsheets, pictures, media and other files. Attach the USB
cable and easily drag-and-drop files to or from any Windows PC. (Windows
2000
and later only. No drivers required.)

To connect your Heat as a USB disk drive, connect the USB cable.
Then press Menu,
device password. (The default is 0000.) You will not be able to
make or receive calls while connected to your PC.
Drag-and-drop files to or from your Heat just as you would with
any disk drive. When finished, "eject" the drive in Windows and
then press Menu, Disconnect to exit Disk Mode.
To view available memory in the USB Disk area, press Menu,
User Memory, Memory Info.
