    In ceramic furnace muffles, the process for the oxide layer formation can be impaired due to the resistance imprisonment and to the vacuum operation. The exclusive S.A.L.V. system, developed and patented by EDG, promotes airflow inside the quartz pipe that supports the muffle resistance. This flow renews and maintains the protective oxide layer, increasing the useful life of the resistance at high temperatures.

  • Page 6 Your Sinter Press should be far from curtains and inflammable material. A furnace is a heat generator which needs to be dissipated; otherwise its components will be overheated. Therefore, place the equipment at a ventilated area which allows free air circulation. It is advisable to leave a 15cm clearance between the furnace and anything that can impair the ventilation.
  • Page 7 4-4) Check if the outlet in which the furnace will be plugged in is in perfect condition and of good quality to bear at least 20 amperes. 4-5) Connect the grounding end (round pin) to a grounding rod and never to the electrical network neutral.

    Control panel 5-1) The panel has liquid crystal display with 4 lines by 20 columns on a blue background and yellow printing with BACKLIGHT inside illumination that allows easy identification of the programming functions and log monitoring. 5-2) It has a membrane sensitive to the operator's touch, which makes the functions activation easier with beeping sound recognition.
