    X-IP-SERIES USER MANUAL INSTALLING THE CAMERA HEAD PTZ CONFIGURATION – CONVERTING BALL CAMERA TO DOME CAMERA The RVX Series can be mounted as a dome or ball PTZ configuration.     X-IP-SERIES USER MANUAL 4.1.3 LAN CONNECTION WITHOUT LOCAL DHCP SERVER Due to the large number of variations possible in the network structure, it is difficult to predict if the camera will be contactable using the Local Link IP address in a given network. The simplest solution in this case is to use the 'Direct Cable Connection' method below to configure the camera for a fixed IP address in a useable range (consult local IT support) before connecting the camera directly to the local network.

See the 'Camera Profiles' section for more information on the use of profiles.
