POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk
of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

HOW TO USE
ATTACHING BEATERS: Be sure appliance is unplugged. Align notches on beaters with
slots in hand unit, and push until they lock in place. Insert plug into any standard house-
hold outlet. Place beaters directly into container holding ingredients to be mixed.
Set the speed control lever to the 1 (Low) position to start blending, then increase to 2,
3,4,5,6,7 (high)
REMOVING BEATERS I DOUGH HOOK: Slide speed control to "OFF" or "0" position.
Unplug appliance. Push down on the eject button to eject beaters I dough hook.

This hand mixer is capable of blending several ingredients. Simply place beaters in con-
tainer holding ingredients, and switch on. Use the mixer to make cakes, pies whipped top-
ping, mashed potatoes and much more. The 7 speeds allow you to mix a variety of foods.

USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try
to repair it yourself. Refer it to qualified personnel if servicing is needed.
TO CLEAN: NEVER IMMERSE MOTOR HOUSING IN WATER. First, be sure untt is
unplugged. Eject beaters from the untt and wash normally Wipe motor housing with a
damp cloth or sponge.
TO STORE: Unplug unit; store in its box in a clean, dry place. Never store while it is hot
or plugged in. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Do not put any stress on the
cord where it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.
