5.3. Other problems
It stops at the blue back screen at startup
□ If you install multiple display drivers, they may not work properly due to mutual effects. In this case, after starting
with the above [Enable VGA mode] method, delete unnecessary display drivers from the control panel, and
restart.
Even if the display driver is installed, it starts up in VGA mode
□ The installation of the display driver may not be complete, or the file may be corrupted. Refer to "3.1Display
Driver Installation " (page E-8) and install the software again.
□ When using a type of application software (such as pcANYWHERE such as Symantec's pcANYWHERE) that
interrupts the control of the display driver, the display driver may not function properly depending on the
installation / update / uninstallation procedure of the application software and the display driver.
In this case, please uninstall the application software and then install the display driver. Also refer to the
instruction manual of the application software.
□ If you replace the card due to a failure of this product, etc., the display driver may not be recognized correctly
and it may start up in VGA mode.
In this case, please refer to "3.1.Display Driver Installation" (pageE-8) to install the software.
Not enough performance
□ The display driver may not be installed properly or the file may be corrupted. Install the software again referring
to "3.1Display Driver Installation" (page E-8).
□ You may be using a screen mode that is not supported by the 3D graphics application, so check / change the
screen area and screen color.
□ If the mouse cursor is software drawn, a slight performance degradation will occur. When the cursor is set to a
large cursor or color cursor, mouse cursor drawing by hardware is not enabled and it becomes software
drawing.In this case, use the standard Windows mouse cursor.
□ Set the driver settings as follows.
Click "Restore Defaults" at the top right of the "Adjust image settings by preview" screen in
" 4.1.Configuration on Windows Server OS" (page E-11) to restore the default settings.
After that, please refer to "Management of 3D setting" and set the setting of vertical sync from Forced off from
application control, and then click the Apply button.
□ In this product, when the temperature is monitored on the LSI chip and the set threshold is exceeded, the
operating clock frequency is automatically reduced for safety and the mode shifts to a lower power consumption
mode.
In that case, check the installation environment of the server.
If the problem persists, check if the heat sink fan is rotating and check if the heat sink is clogged with dust.
If you have confirmed the above items but the problem persists, there is a possibility that this
product has some sort of failure. Please contact to reseller, sales agents or service
representative.
