SC / UPC and SC / APC field assembly connector

This assembly procedure applies to the 2 × 3 mm optical drop cable.

2. Assembly Steps

2.1. Preparing the fiber
50 to 60 mm
Cable entry
1. Remove the Drop Cable jacket
3. Insert the cable into the assembly
template, up to the indicated marking
Remove the fiber sheath with the stripping
pliers.
5. Clean the fiber optic with the paper
provided in the assembly kit
7. Cut the fiber
Use a cleaver to make the cut in the
optical fiber
2. Insert the fiber cable into the screw cap
4. Check fiber integrity
Move the fiber with your fingertips to all sides
respecting the maximum 60° curvature
6. Insert the cable into the assembly
template by aligning it with the indicated
part
