I have had the Toastess TT200 for several years but used maybe 5 times, worked perfectly last 3 days. Today no red light on when switched on. Is there a likely problem and easy fix?

All recommended fixes done, still no red light when switched on. Toaster almost never used but has sat unused for 4 or 5 years.
