A public IP is needed to access the DMS2 over the internet. (One public IP is needed for each DMS2) A private IP may be used if the DMS2 need not be accessed over the internet. DMS2 supports DHCP. -

Installing the DMS2 (Continued) Connecting Centralized Controller Unfasten the 2 screws on the bottom of the DMS2 front cover. Hold the bottom 2 sides of the DMS2 and push downwards to slide open the cover. Connect the adapter to the power terminal. - Page 15 Connecting Interface Module Unfasten the 2 screws on the bottom of the DMS2 front cover. Hold the bottom 2 sides of the DMS2 and push downwards to slide open the cover. Connect the adapter to the power terminal. Arrange the adapter as the right figure.
