7�3�3 Above-reservoir installation
Above-reservoir installation means that the axial piston unit is installed above the
minimum fluid level of the reservoir.
Above-reservoir installation is only possible at size 40 to 125 and should be avoided
at size 250.
Ensure that the axial piston pump with above-reservoir installation has
a minimum suction pressure of 1 bar at port S
valve during operation in all installation positions during operation and during
cold start. The maximum pressure of 16 bar at port S
exceeded.
For installation position (drive shaft upward): A check valve in the drain line
should be avoided and is only permissible on a case-by-case basis upon request.
