1 Overview 1.1 Introduction The DH-PFM522 series IR illuminator is a smart illuminator. You can control the on and off of the Illuminator according to different scenarios. The Illuminator uses an imported LED chip as the light source. With a precise optical design, the light intensity can be evenly and effectively distributed, and achieve the overall highlighting effect and provide professional supplementary light for video monitoring, vehicle and pedestrian detection and capture.

User’s Manual 3 Installation The Illuminator is classified as RG2 according to the EN 62471-2006 Photobiological safety of lamps and lamp system. Do not stare at the Illuminator. The Illuminator might cause blue-ray or heat damages to eyes. ● To protect the photosensitive components from being soaked by rain and affecting the normal operation, we recommend you face down the photosensitive components during installation, and avoid strong light towards the components.

If there are no communication requirements between two sub networks, it is suggested to use VLAN, network GAP and other technologies to partition the network, so as to achieve the network isolation effect.
User’s Manual Appendix 2 Lightning and Surge Protection The Illuminator adopts TVS lightning protection technology. It can effectively prevent damage from various pulse signals, such as a sudden lightning and surge. However, you still need to take necessary precaution measures in accordance with your local electrical safety code when installing the Camera in outdoor environment.
