you perform the procedure at a time when your phone and Internet services are not actively being used in your household.

You can now take control of your Wi-Fi using our Cogeco Wi-Fi app.
If you haven't done so already, go to cogeco.ca/myaccount to register for My Account. You will need a My Account profile
to log in to the Cogeco Wi-Fi app and complete your installation.

If this is a replacement modem, begin by disconnecting and packing up your old equipment. Make sure to follow the
instructions in the enclosed Equipment Return guide to avoid any unnecessary charges.

Installing and activating your modem

Choose the central location of
your living areas.

Locate a coaxial wall outlet. Here are a few things to consider when
choosing the optimal location to install your Wi-Fi modem. It should
be:
Central to the areas where you use the Internet most often
Close to devices you need to connect by wire, such as a phone
3 feet from the ground
In an open space, away from any obstacle that may block the
Wi-Fi signal such as wireless electronics, or materials like
metal, concrete, or mirrored surfaces.
