warm in a room with a lower temperature setting (66.5°F or 19.2°C) than with a conventional heating
system. It is this lower temperature setting that is the primary energy saving when using IR heating.
Note – The dimensions and flatness of these heating panels are subject to change when at operating
temperature. It is also possible the panels make faint sounds as they heat or cool. This is normal and
need be no cause for concern.
WARNING – The ILO Heating Panel is not designed for use as a clothes dryer. Do not cover the
heating panel with any clothing, towels (wet or dry), rugs, curtains etc. These flammable items will
impair the correct operation of the heating panel and might lead to overheating of the panel and fire.
