Dry Vacuum System

Introduction.

This document provides instructions for using replacement kits P/N H5223, H5225, H5635, H5643 and H5645 to replace
a Power Module assembly of a MOJAVE Dry Vacuum System. Use the replacement kit listed below corresponding to the
MOJAVE Power Module being replaced.

Note: Each kit contains the attaching hardware necessary to secure the replacement module to the pump chassis.

Power Removal
Power Module Replacement Procedure. Replace the faulty Power Module by performing the following steps.
1. Make sure to place the Pump Power On/
Off Switch in the Off position and remove
all mains power before performing any
replacement procedures.
2. Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the
cover from the electrical connection box
located on top of the pump.
3. Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, disconnect
the green with yellow stripe ground wire.
4. Disconnect the black, red and white wires.
5. Remove the strain relief and harness
assembly from the electrical connection
box of the pump.
6. Disconnect the CAT-5 cable from the
RJ-45 connector plug.

All personnel servicing the MOJAVE system must read and understand the Operator's Manual
before operating or performing any service of the unit. Only a trained technician from a qualified Air
Techniques dealer should perform any service.
Never work on equipment connected to live power. Remove power by disconnecting mains
power to the unit prior to performing any replacement procedures.
