On the Set up accounts screen, choose which email accounts you want to set 
up. Tap Skip if you do not want to set up accounts. 
To learn how to set up a Google Account, refer to Chapter 8.
To learn how to set up an Exchange ActiveSync account and other email 
accounts, refer to Chapter 5.
After setting up an account, you will be taken back to the Set up accounts 
screen. Tap Next when you are done setting up the accounts.

On the Set up social networks screen, choose which social network accounts 
you want to set up. Tap Skip if you do not want to set up accounts.  
After setting up an account, you will be taken back to the Set up social 
networks screen. Tap Next when you are done setting up the accounts.

Tap Finish to finish the setup process and go to the Home screen.

Turning off the screen when not in use

To save battery power, the phone automatically turns off the screen when you leave 
it idle after a certain period of time. You will still be able to receive messages and 
calls while the phone's screen is off.
Tip 
For information on how to adjust the time before the screen turns off, see "Display 
settings" in Chapter 10.
You can also turn off the screen by pressing the END CALL/POWER button. Pressing 
MENU, END CALL/POWER, or incoming calls will turn on your phone screen and 
show the lock screen.
