Tips
• You can talk on the base phone by pressing (LINE 1) or (LINE 2) on the base
phone after you have dialed on the handset (speakerphone).
• The LINE 1 or LINE 2 button flashes in sets of two, when the base phone or
another extention is used.

Do this
Press (HOLD). The LINE 1 or LINE 2 button
will flash slowly.
A beep sounds every 20 seconds to inform you
that the line is put on hold.
Press (LINE 1) or (LINE 2) to resume the
conversation.
Press (CHANNEL).
Slide the VOL switch.
Press (*TONE) after you're connected.
The line will remain in tone dialing until
disconnected.
Pick up the handset from the
base phone.
Press (LINE 1) or (LINE 2) to
select the line.
The corresponding button lights
up.
You then hear a dial tone. If you
hear an error beep, move closer
to the base phone.
Dial the phone number.
When you're done talking, press
(OFF) or replace the handset on
the base phone.
The LINE 1 or LINE 2 button
goes off.
