Preparing the microscope for use Carefully remove the items from its packaging and place them on a flat, firm surface. Please do not expose the microscope to direct sunlight, high temperatures, damp, dust or acute shakes. It is not necessary – and not recommended – to clean the lens surfaces at the inside of the objectives. Sometimes dust can be removed with high pressured air.
