1.2 Circuit Statement

1.2.1 Micro Controller (MPU)

Component：SIN-0002A PQFP
SIN-0002 is part of X86 serial MPU. In duplicator of function is conscientious for
circuit controller. Major of control are include IDE decoder interface command to control
CD-ROM and CD-RW read or write, LCD display string control, choice function key and
execute copy function, USB mode for external CD-RW exchange control ... etc.

1.2.2 CMOS Flash Memory 128K x 8bits (BIOS)

Component：SST 39SF010-70
SST 39SF010 is part of CMOS flash memory serial for 1MB capacity. Major of
function is storage duplicator source core and in general name is BIOS. The inside of
storage are include IDE decoder interface command to control CD-ROM and CD-RW
read or write, LCD display string control, choice function key and execute copy function,
USB mode for external CD-RW exchange control programs. The BIOS govern is
depend on firmware version to conform checksum.

1.2.3 Memory Buffer (256K x 16 bits DRAM IC)

Component： M11B416256A-25J SOJ-40 (Elite MT)
The memory buffer with 4MB DRAM has includes M11B416256A-25J,
GLT44016-28J4 and IS41C16256-25K for brand of name. When duplicator is fi nish
system boot then firmware will download to memory buffer. After system in main
function that will execute any command from memory buffer.

1.2.4 Complex Programmable Logic Device

The Complex Programmable Logic Device is support 64 I/O ports. Main of provides
for LCD control signal (LCD_DB0~LCD_DB7) for multiplexed BUS (AD0~AD7) to latch
output. The LCD_EN signal to decision data latch output and display character string to
LCD. The AD0~AD15 for multiplexed data and address bus exchange that cause DIR
signal to decision receive or transmission data. For CD-ROM device signal control that
includes B_CS17X, B_DREQ0, B_DACK0, B_RD0, B_WR0 ...etc. For CD-RW device
signal control that includes B_CS1FX, B_DREQ1, B_DACK1, B_RD1, B_WR1... etc.

1.2.5 USB 2.0 to ATA/ATAPI Bridge

Component：CY7C68300A
The CY7C63800A is provided ATA/ATAPI interface exchange to USB2.0 function. If
U_BUS_PWR_IN is "Low" that mean USB cable is not plug to connector. The system
will be duplicator mode. Whe n U_BUS_PWR_IN is "High" that mean USB cable is plug
to connector. Then U_ATA_EN will from "Low" to "High" and allow ATA bus sharing with
CD-RW device. The system will exchange to external CD-RW USB mode.

1.2.6 Serial EEPROM

Component：24LC02N
Major o f function is provides storage of Cypress CY7C63800A USB ID program.
The serial EEPROM capacity is 2Kbytes. Utilize SCL and SDA signals for two -way BUS
to transmission data.
