• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.
• Leave the building immediately.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor's phone. Follow the
gas supplier's instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.
− Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service
agency, or the gas supplier.

    INTRODUCTION This manual is for use by an authorized service technician to install a Dometic DF Series Furnace . Should you require further information, contact Dometic . The design of the DF Series Furnace (hereinafter referred to as “Furnace”) has been certified for installation in a recreational vehicle (hereinafter referred to as “RV”) as an MSP Category III Furnace .

  • Page 21 INSTALLATION G. Converting The Furnace Gas Type This section applies to DFLA35 and DFLA40 models only . These models are set up for LP gas at the factory, but can be converted to natural gas . A natural gas conversion kit is included .  Any conversion to natural gas must conform with local codes, or in the absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223 .1/NFPA 54 Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, in addition to the Standard for Recreational Vehicles NFPA1192 and CSA Z240 RV Recreational Vehicle Code .
