Vg-2 Alerts

The VG-2, also known as a "radar detector detector", is a
special receiver used by police to detect signals radiated by a
radar detector.
When a VG-2 signal is detected the VG-2 alert is sounded
and LED "P" will flash.

Pulse Protection

Pulse (or instant-on) radar is more difficult to detect than
conventional radar because it remains "off" until activated to
measure the speed of a targeted vehicle.
When a pulse type transmission is detected, your CRUNCH
detector sounds an urgent audio warning and flashes "X"
indicator at its fastest rate.

Voice Mode

To turn on/off the Voice Mode press and hold the "DIM"
button for more then 3 seconds.
To choose the language of voice announcements press
and hold the "City" button for more then 3 seconds.

Tutorial mode

The CRUNCH 2160 has a tutorial mode intended to
familiarize you with the various visual displays and distinct
audible alerts the unit performs.
To begin the tutorial mode press the "DIM" and "City"
buttons simultaneously and hold them for more than three
seconds. After demonstration press any button to leave the
Tutorial Mode.
