Installation

19" Rack Mount
1) Affi x your monitor to a 19" rack.
2) Attach a shielded video cable (connected at one end to your computer, work-
station or composite NTSC/PAL video source) to the video connector(s) located
on the rear of the unit.
3) A. If your monitor came supplied with an attached power supply, plug one end of
the supplied line cord into the AC socket located on the rear of the LCD monitor
and the other end into a grounded 110/220V AC outlet.
B. If your monitor came supplied with a separate power supply, fi rst attach the
DC power supply to the unit. Then plug one end of the supplied line cord into
the AC socket located on the rear of the DC power supply and the other end into
a grounded 110/220V AC outlet.
4) Place the AC line switch in the ON or '|' position.
5) Activate the LCD monitor by pressing the On/Off button located on the
membrane keypad.
Note: The yellow/red LED (STANDBY) located on the front bezel will illuminate if the
video cable is not attached or an invalid video source is connected to the monitor. The
green LED (POWER) will illuminate if proper power and a valid video source have been
applied to the system.
6) Although factory-calibrated for optimal image quality, from time to time you
may need to override the factory default settings of your monitor. To adjust the
monitor settings, please refer to the LCD Monitor Calibration & Setup Guide
for your unit. The Documentation CD packaged with your monitor will explain
how to determine the appropriate document.
