  • Page 2 This antenna is fully assembled and ready to mount. Pick a mounting location well away from any other transmitting antennas. Transmitting signals close to the MFJ-1886TR will damage the internal amplifier. This antenna can be used indoors if desired. Rotating the antenna by hand is a good way to null noise or other broadcast stations in the area.

Connect the Transmit Antenna to the XMIT ANTENNA jack. Connect the coax betweel the MFJ-1886 Loop and the LOOP ANTENNA DC-PASS jack Connect and RCA cable between the KEY jack and the KEY output on the transceiver.

TRANSCEIVER RF input from your transceiver. XMIT ANTENNA The terminal for the transmit antenna. When off or power is removed the transceiver is connected to the transmit antenna.
