Notes Large accumulations of ice or hoar frost on the freezer grids impede the efficiency of the appliance and cause the rate of energy consumption to increase. If the layer of frost is greater than 5 mm then the appliance should be defrosted. In any case it should be done at least once or twice a year.
How to save energy S Install the appliance in a dry, well ven tilated room, but not in direct sunlight and not near a heat source (e.g. radiator, cooker, etc.). If required, use an insulating plate. S Do not block the ventilation openings in the appliance.
