Configuring general settings
On the Apps screen, tap Camera →
• C amera function volume: Adjust the volume level for camera function sounds.
• B eep: Activate or deactivate beep sounds.
• G uide lines: Display viewfinder guides to help composition when selecting subjects.
• A uto close Camera: Set the length of time the device waits before turning off the
display's backlight.
• R eview pics/videos: Briefly display photos or videos taken.
• D ate/time Imprint: Use this to imprint the time and date on photos.
• L ocation tags: Attach a GPS location tag to the photo.
• T o improve GPS signals, avoid shooting in locations where the signal may be
obstructed, such as between buildings or in low-lying areas, or in poor weather
conditions.
• Y our location may appear on your photos when you upload them to the Internet.
To avoid this, deactivate the GPS tag setting.
• A F lamp: Use this to activate the AF-assist light in low-light conditions.
• D igital zoom: Set the device to use the digital zoom feature.
• S tart mode: Select the shooting mode to use when the camera turns on.
• S torage location: Select the memory location for storage.
• R eset settings: Reset the camera settings.
