Note:
Before connecting to an external device, make sure to turn the main unit off.
If there is noise or lines on the screen, please check the HDMI cable (length
is generally limited to 4.5 m and use a high speed HDMI cable (version 1.3)).
If you want to enjoy only the TV sound more plentifully, it is necessary to
connect the audio output of the TV to the S/PDIF input of the main unit
using an S/PDIF cable. (Refer to page19.)
When the connected device is not compatible with copyright protection
technology (HDCP), the image and/or the sound from the HDMI TV OUT jack
may be distored or may not be outputted. In this case, check the
specifications for the connected device.
If a connected HDMI device does not accept the audio output of the player, the
HDMI device's audio sound may be distorted or may not be outputted.

You can enjoy the sound from your device with a digital optical connection
through your soundbar.

Connect the optical output jack of your device into the S/PDIF IN jack on
the main unit.
