To disable the external sound (siren squawk) when using the MG-REM1 remote to set or remove the alarm on the Magellan MG32LED, follow these steps:

1. Log in using the System Master or Partition Master code.
2. Navigate to the System Options menu.
3. Locate the Squawk Remote setting.
4. Toggle the setting to disable the siren squawk on arm/disarm.

This will prevent the siren from making a sound when using the remote for arming or disarming.
