When deeply discharged, this type of battery will provide only a very low voltage output and will draw less than 1 amp during the recharging process, until activated.

It automatically adjusts the charge rate as the battery becomes charged and stops charging when the battery is fully charged. If you require some estimate of the time it takes to charge a battery, refer to the chart below for approximate charge times.
