Symptom
The air filter does not operate at all.
The remote control does not operate the
air filter but the control panel operates
fine.
The air filter CFM output is reduced.
The air filter unit is noisy or vibrates.

Troubleshooting

Possible Cause
1. The power supply circuit breaker is
tripped.
2. No power to the control panel
3. Wiring is at fault
4. The control panel circuit board is at
fault.
5. The motor is at fault.
1. The remote control has no power.
2. The signal path is obstructed.
3. The remote control is at fault.
4. The control panel circuit board is at
fault.
1. The filters are wet or clogged.
2. The airflow path is obstructed.
3. The control panel circuit board is at
fault.
4. The motor is at fault.
1. The mounting is loose.
2. The unit is not level.
3. The fan or motor is loose.
Disconnect power to the
machine when perform-
ing any troubleshooting.
Failure to do this may
result in serious person-
al injury.
Possible Solution
1. Correct the cause for high current
draw and close the circuit breaker.
2. Replace the blown fuse in the control
panel.
3. Repair, replace wires, plugs and
cables as applicable; and make sure
all electrical plugs and connections
are secure.
4. Replace the circuit board.
5. Replace the motor.
1. Install or replace the batteries.
2. Make sure the signal path is clear to
the infrared remote control sensor on
the control panel.
3. Replace the hand-held remote control
unit.
4. Replace the control panel circuit
board.
1. Replace the primary filter and clean
the secondary filter.
2. Remove obstructions or add ducting.
3. Replace the control panel circuit
board.
4. Replace the motor.
1. Tighten the flange brackets and rein-
stall the air filter unit.
2. Level the air filter unit.
3. Unplug the unit, remove the filters, and
tighten all loose fastners.
