    Recommended grounding method For your personal safety, this appliance must be grounded. This appliance is equipped with a power supply cord having a NEMA 5-15P 3-prong grounded plug. To minimize possible shock hazard, the cord must be plugged into a mating NEMA 5-15R 3-pronged, wall receptacle, grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances.

    Water Supply and Drain Connections The water supply and drain should be ready at the point of installation. A wall outlet directly behind the ice maker will make under-counter installation easier. NOTE: All installations must be in accordance with local plumbing code requirements. Professional installation is recommended.

    Condenser Cleaning A dirty or clogged condenser prevents proper airflow, reduces ice making capacity, and causes higher than recommended operating temperatures that may lead to component failure. Have the condenser cleaned at least once every three months. 1. Unplug the ice maker or disconnect power. 2.
