Your phone has an integrated two-port switch. This allows you to connect your PC to the local network via the phone and avoid using additional connection ports on the switch or router.

Please be aware that the device is powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet). This means that it is supplied with power as soon as it is connected to an Ethernet switch with PoE-functionality.

The device checks to see if a network connection already exists. The network connection is automatically established if the phone has automatically been assigned an IP address from a DHCP server in the network.

The DNS server is required to convert the DNS name into the IP address when a connection is being established to a server.
