Connectingexternaldatamedia
notes:
Before connecting the external data medium
7
it is recommended to switch the television to
stand-by mode.
Before removing the external data medium,
7
the television must be switched to standby,
so that no data loss occurs.
Your television features two USB sockets,
7
»usB1« and »usB2«.
»usB1« is used to connect data m edia,
which require an additional power supply.
– for example, external hard disks.
1 Connect the »usB1« socket of the t elevision
and the corresponding socket of the data
medium (external hard disk) using a USB ca-
ble;
or
insert the USB plug of the USB memory stick
into the »usB2« socket of the television.
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
notes:
The »usB2« socket of the television sup-
7
plies a maximum power of 500 mA in ac-
cordance with USB specifications. External
hard disks which require more power may
therefore only be connected to the »usB1«
of the television.
If you use a network cable for external hard
7
disks which have been connected to the
»usB1« socket of the television, this network
cable must also be disconnected from the
power supply when the television is switched
off.
External data media may not be disconnect-
7
ed from the television while files on the data
medium are being accessed.
