Troubleshooting

PROBLEM
Unit does not run.
Unit does not develop adequate
vacuuming or blowing pressure.
Piston does not travel
through the conduit.

PROBABLE CAUSE
Faulty cord.
Faulty switch.
Faulty motor.
Filters are dirty.
Gaskets do not seal well.
Tank is full.
Wrong piston size.
Conduit run is obstructed.
EMT couplings are loose.
Replace cord.
Replace switch.
Replace motor.
Clean the filters. See the Maintenance
section of this manual.
Replace gaskets. See the Maintenance
section of this manual.
Empty the tank.
Select the correct piston size.
Clear the conduit run. Check for
flattened bends.
Tighten the couplings.
