Press the # button. The appliance is
switched on.
The Bosch logo appears on the display
and all indicator lamps light up.
The Cottons programme set at the
factory is then always displayed.

use this programme or
select another programme on the
control panel or
select a programme under

If you have activated the

Operating the appliance

The indicator lamp on the programme
selector lights up and the main menu
with the programme default settings
for the selected programme appear on
the display panel:
Temperature,
Spin speed,
Programme duration,
i-DOS settings,
Any additional settings and
Information on water and energy
consumption. ~ Page 12
In appliances with a drum light:
The drum is lit after switching on the
appliance, after opening and closing the
door and after starting the programme.
The light switches off automatically.
You can:
use the programme default settings
and load laundry ~ Page 42,
or change the programme default
settings and/or select additional
settings.
Change the programme
default settings
You can use or change the default
settings for each washing cycle.
To do this, repeatedly press the
corresponding button until the required
setting is displayed. ~ Page 36
Pressing and holding the buttons
Note:
automatically runs through the set
values.
The settings are activated without
needing to be confirmed.
After the appliance is switched off, the i-
DOS settings for i I w and w are
retained. All other settings are not saved
and must be selected again.
