    Benefits of the Cypress Handheld Wireless Reader System The Cypress Handheld Wireless Reader verifies credentials by wirelessly communicating with a live database through the reader’s Base Unit. A vend button on the Handheld Reader controls a relay, which can be used for functions such as controlling doors or gates, or triggering possible duress notifications.
