Add/Del/Surf
Create your
own channel

Press the MENU button repeatedly until
the Setup Menu appears.
Using the UP/DOWN arrows, select
Add/Del/Surf in the menu. Then press
a RIGHT/LEFT arrow to enter the
Add/Del/Surf screen. Your screen will be
filled with channel numbers, the added
chanels in white and the deleted chan-
nels in gray. The channel picture will be
in the upper-right corner.
With the four ARROW buttons, highlight
the channel you want to add/delete to
your channel list. Press FLSHBK to Add
or Delete channels.
Press the SURF button to choose which
list you're changing (No Surfing or Surf 1-
4). The list name will be on the right,
under the inset picture.
Press the FLSHBK button to cycle
through the options (added or surf).
Use the arrow keys to move to the next
channel.
Note: The status of the channel will
appear on the right side of the screen.
Also, a Surfed channel will have a pink
surfer icon next to it, active channels
will be in white, and deleted channels
will appear in a gray color.
Press ENTER and QUIT to return to TV
viewing.
If the Add/Delete/Surf screen reverts
to normal TV viewing, simply press
the MENU key and then a RIGHT/LEFT
arrow key to get back to the
Add/Delete/Surf screen
Instead of "Surf 1" or "Surf 2,"
customize the name of your program
listings. See Surf ID on page 32.
