    Uplink Detect feature that detects if the connected client is another switch, hub, NIC or router. If so, the EE2400-S will automatically make the client port an uplink port. If the auto-negotiation is disabled, users can set the connection speed, full/half duplex of the connection ports.     2.3 VLAN Setup If you want to setup the VLAN function in the 24-port switch, press 2 at the MAIN MENU where it says “VLAN Setup”. At this screen, the user will be able to freely add or remove ports from VLAN groups. For example, now we will try to add port 2 into VLAN group 2.

    2.4 Trunking Setup To use trunking function in this 24-port switch, press 3 at the MAIN MENU where it says “Trunking Setup”. By enabling trunking function, the VLAN groups will be forced to a setting of 4 VLAN groups, with port 1,2,3,4,5,6 in VLAN1, port 7,8,9,10,11,12 in VLAN2, port 13,14,15,16,17,18 in VLAN3, and port 19,20,21,22,23,24 in VLAN4.
