Four of the brightly coloured segments of the board reveal auditory or tactile stimulation – music or vibration (six are blanks). The tops are slightly textured to help the user gain good grip and the splayed base provides stability. The product is designed to give motivational and different sensory rewards whilst encouraging physical activity. Requires concentration and orientation to task. 11. Care and Maintenance • The Musical Balance Board can wiped clean with any household multi‐purpose cleaner and disinfectant. • Do not submerge the battery operated pieces as liquids will damage the electrical components. • Do not use abrasive cleaners on any section of the product as they will scratch the surface. 15. Troubleshooting • Ensure that the batteries used are fully working. • Check batteries have been inserted correctly. • Ensure pieces are switched on with the silver switch. • The optical eye must be covered for a couple of seconds for the unit to start playing.
