4.5: Connecting the Power Supply

The LDX-4 requires a dc power supply in the range 10-30 V. A fully regulated
supply is not required, but the voltage at the input to the LDX-4 must remain
within specification. Ideally, the 0 V at the power supply should not be connected
to earth or the chassis, as this would result in ground loops being formed. The 0
V supply, 0 V signal and case are all internally connected together at the LDX-4.
