Upon detection of overcurrent, the unit power off immediately, and the PHASE CONTROL
LED starts flashing. The previous status will be restored when the unit is turned back on.
During normal operation, upon detection of an abnormality in the SMPS system, the unit
is turned off immediately, and the POWER indicator starts flashing. To revert the previous
status, within 1 minute after the shutdown, follow the procedure "How to Enter Release
Mode," described below then turn the unit back on. To restore the previous status 1
minute or more after the shutdown, just turn the unit back on.
If an abnormality is detected in the SMPS system during the power-on sequence, the unit
shuts itself off immediately, and the MCACC LED starts flashing.
To restore the previous status, follow the procedure "How to Enter Release Mode,"
described below, then turn the unit back on.
If an abnormality is detected in the Power Monitor circuit for power supply B for the
SMPS system, "SMPS OVER CURR" appears and starts flashing, and the shutdown
process starts. The power is shut off, the main volume is turned down, and the POWER
indicator starts flashing. To restore the previous status, turn the unit back on.
In Normal Operation mode, if a failure in the amp block or high DC output is detected,
"AMPERR" appears and starts flashing, and the shutdown process starts. The power is shut
off, and the POWER indicator starts flashing.
To restore the previous status, within 1 minute after a shutdown, follow the procedure
described in "How to Enter Release Mode" below then turn the unit back on.
To restore the previous status 1 minute or more after a shutdown, just turn the unit back on.
The unit also enters this error mode when the DC detection circuit is activated during play-
back at high volume.
If a failure in the amp block or high DC output is detected during a power-on sequence after
high DC output was once detected, "AMP ERR" appears and starts flashing, and the shut-
down process starts. The power is shut off, and the MCACC LED starts flashing.
To restore the previous status, follow the procedure described in "How to Enter Release
Mode" below then turn the unit back on. If the unit shuts off again, the AMP block may be in
failure.
If abnormal temperature is detected in the MOSFET at the amp output stage,
"AMP OVERHEAT" appears and starts flashing, and the shutdown process starts.
The power is shut off. To restore the previous status, turn the unit back on.
If abnormality is detected in the fan for the AMP or SMPS, "FAN STOP" appears and starts
flashing, and the shutdown process starts. The power is shut off.
The iLink LED starts flashing. To restore the previous status, turn the unit back on.
If abnormal temperature is detected in the HDMI system, the shutdown process starts.
The power is shut off, and the POWER indicator starts flashing. To restore the previous
status, turn the unit back on.
If an abnormality is detected in the fan for the HDMI system, the shutdown process starts.
The power is shut off, and the i.Link LED starts flashing. To restore the previous status,
turn the unit back on.
If overvoltage is detected in the HDMI system, the shutdown process starts.
The power is shut off, and the MCACC LED starts flashing. The power cannot turn on
again. When the power is turned on again, perform the following "How to Enter Release
Mode".
