Enable microSD Card Encryption
Worried that others might see your photos and other personal data after you lend them your microSD
card? You can encrypt the files stored in your microSD card so that no one else who gets the card can
access your personal data. Encrypted files can only be viewed and used on your own device. Other
people can use the microSD card's storage space, but cannot view the content of any encrypted files.
Do not restart your Phone or remove your microSD card during the encryption or decryption
l
process, as this may result in encryption or decryption failure, or even loss of data.
Before encrypting your files, make sure there is enough storage space in the microSD card, and
l
that neither the card nor its files have been damaged.
microSD card encryption and decryption is available only to the device owner.
