a P ull out the cassette forward while pressing
the lock on the cassette.
b O pen the paper guides, and then align the
guide in front with the mark of LTR or A4.

a L oad several sheets of plain paper with the
print side facing down.
b S lide the right paper guide to align it with the
side of the paper stack.
c A lign the paper stack with the paper guide in
front.

a A ttach the cassette cover.
b I nsert the cassette.

Pull out the paper output tray.

Read the messages and tap OK.

When the pattern for print head alignment is
printed, tap Yes.

Follow the on-screen instructions to load the
pattern on the platen glass.

Close the document cover, and then follow the on-
screen instructions to tap OK.

If the following screen appears, tap OK.
The print head alignment is now
complete.
