4 Use your CD
Soundmachine

Play a CD

Note
You cannot play CDs encoded with copyright
protection technologies.
You can play commercially available audio CDs:
CD-Recordables (CD-R)
CD-Rewritables (CD-RW)
MP3-CDs
WMA-CDs

Switch the source selector to CD•USB.

Press CD to select CD source.

Press to open the lid of the CD
compartment.

Insert a CD with the printed side facing up,
and close the CD lid.

Play from USB device

Note
Make sure that the USB device contains playable audio
contents for supported formats.

Switch the source selector to CD•USB.

Listen to radio

Tip
Position the antenna as far as possible from TV, VCR, or
other radiation source.

Fully extend and adjust the position of the
antenna for optimal reception

Switch the MW/FM selector to MW or
FM.

Rotate TUNING until you find optimal
reception.

Repeat step 3 to tune to more stations.
Tip
To improve FM reception, you can extend, incline, or
turn the telescopic antenna for best reception.
To improve MW reception, turn the device to face a
different direction.
