36" GAS RANGE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION AND SERVICE MUST BE PERFORMED BY A QUALIFIED INSTALLER.
IMPORTANT: SAVE FOR LOCAL ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR'S USE.
READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
OBSERVE ALL GOVERNING CODES AND ORDINANCES.
If the information in this manual is not followed exactly, a fire
or explosion may result causing property damage, personal injury or death.
FOR YOUR SAFETY:
— Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in
the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
— WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your
building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor's phone. Follow the
gas supplier's instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.

    Avoid touching the vent openings or nearby surfaces as they may become hot while the oven is in operation. This range requires fresh air for proper burner combustion. Never cover any slots, holes or pas- sages in the oven bottom or cover an entire rack with materials such as aluminum foil.

    The supply line must be equipped with an approved manual shutoff valve. This valve should be located in the same room as the range and should be in a location that allows ease of opening and closing. Do not block access to the shutoff valve.

    Checking for leaks with a flame may result in a fire or explosion. All openings in the wall or floor where the range is to be installed must be sealed. Tighten all connections if necessary to prevent gas leakage in the cooktop or supply line.
