Abnormal plug and play operation for DVI - D
Confirm the host computer supplies
DDC2 mode.
OK
Check the voltage on P303 pin14 that
is power DC 5V.
OK
Check the voltage on
I305 pin8
OK
1. Check the voltage on
P301 or P302 pin6 and pin7
that is serial data and clock signal.
2. Check I301 and I302
pin10 is high.
OK
Failure Point:
1. Printed wire broke between I305 pin5, pin6 and
P302 pin6, pin7.
2. R346 or R347 is open.
4. C346 or C347 is short.
5. D323 , D322 is short.
Appendix 4: Troubleshooting
Failure Point:

The host computer is not communicating in DDC2 mode.
Failure Point:
NG
The DVI-D video cable is failure.
Failure Point:
1. Printed wire is broken between I305 pin8 and P303

pin14.
2. D320 D321 is damaged
3. C345 is short
Failure Point:
NG
The DVI-D video cable is failure. I305 pin5, pin6 is low , the
I305 may be defected.
