Using your Haygain® hay steamer Do not allow the steam generator to run out of water If the steam generator runs out of water, also known as “boils dry”, it can be damaged. If the steam generator boils dry, a buzzer sounds and the empty indicator light turns red.
Using your Haygain® hay steamer Unloading forage After you steam forage, the forage is warm and smells sweet. Most horses love the taste and prefer it to dry or soaked hay. We recommend you make any changes to your horse's diet slowly, to give their digestive system time to adapt.
