    Installation WARNING: Appliance shall be installed, operated and stored in a room with a floor area larger than 7m Appliance is filled with flammable gas R290. The appliance shall be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition sources. (example: open flames, an operating gas appliance or an operating electric heater).
  • Page 7 Installation Mounting of the exhaust pipe Fig. 1 • Use only the hose provided and clip exhaust hose to the back of the air conditioner • Avoid kinks and bends in the exhaust hose as this will cause expelled moist air to build up causing the unit to overheat and shut down.
  • Page 8 Installation Installation of the carbon filter • Remove the plastic filter from the unit. • Remove the active carbon filter from its plastic bag. • Place the active carbon filter onto the unit. • Replace the plastic filter on to the unit.

    Operating your Portable Air Conditioner Always choose a safe location for the Portable Air Conditioner, keeping in mind the safety precautions outlined. Ensure all packaging has been removed from the unit before use. WARNING: Keep all objects at least 1 metre from the front, sides and rear of the appliance.
  • Page 10 Operating your Portable Air Conditioner ON/OFF • Press ON/OFF button, the unit will start in AUTO mode. • If the ambient temperature is higher than 22 C, the unit will work in cooling model. • If the ambient temperature is between 20 C and 23 C, the unit will work in fan mode.

If something is wrong in the machine, the display window will show E1, E3 or E5. The sensor on the evaporator has failed. This cannot be repaired The Temperature Control sensor has failed.
