The cooling fan in the calibrator will automatically switch off if there is a chilled water supply. A Techne CH-5 chiller may be used to supply chilled water but in an ambient above 20°C it may not achieve the lowest temperatures. Switch on the chiller unit before the calibrator and allow the chiller to stabilise for 15 minutes before performing a calibration. -

Techne accept no responsibility for damage to units which are not properly packed for shipping: if in doubt, contact your supplier. -

T E C A L 1 4 0 H O P E R A T O R ’ S M A N U A L Inserts Inserts are made from aluminium or aluminium-bronze and must be ordered separately from the calibrator. Each insert is stamped for identification. A blank insert is available which may be drilled to suit your application. -
