Camera settings menu
Item Description
If you perform no operations for 30 seconds, the
camera automatically switches to Power save mode.
(Off*, On)
• In Power save mode, press any button other than
Power Save
[POWER] to resume using the camera.
• If the Power save mode is deactivated, the main
display will dim to save battery life when you
perform no operations for about 30 seconds.

Description
Format the memory card. Format deletes all files,
including protected files. (Yes, No)
If you use a memory card used with cameras from
different manufacturers or a memory card reader, or
one formatted on a computer, your camera may read
the card incorrectly. Format the card before using it.
Reset menus and shooting options. Date and time,
language, and video output settings are not reset.
