Alarm/Clock

You can set alarms, create
world clocks, or use the
stopwatch or timer.
Note
Before setting alarms or using the
world clock, set the current date
and time. See "Date and time"
on page 100.

Set a new alarm

You can set an alarm and specify options.
From the home screen, tap <Applications>.
Tap <Alarm/Clock>.
Tap <Alarm>.
Tap <Create alarm> and set the following options, as necessary:
Description
Option
Time and name
Time Set the time of the alarm.
Set the day or days to sound the alarm.
Repeat
Name Tap an input field and enter alarm details.
Notification
Set the snooze length and number of times to repeat the alarm.
Snooze
Set to display the daily briefing when you stop the alarm
Set as daily
briefing (this will override the alarm name).
Smart alarm Set an advance alert for the alarm.
Sound
Alarm tone Set the alarm sound.
Alarm volume Set the volume of the alarm sound.
When you are finished setting options, tap <Save>.
Note
• You can activate or deactivate alarms from the alarm list by tapping
• Alarms will not sound when the player is turned off.
