The table indicates how many briquettes you
you need for baking. By switching the numbers
from the top and the numbers from the bottom,
you will know how many briquettes are necessa-
ry for simmering soup and stew. By the way:
for braising and frying, simply divide the total
amount of briquettes by 2. Put the first half
of the briquettes on the lid and the other half
under the Dutch Oven.
It is important to keep in mind that
these numbers only serve as a point
of reference and can vary according
to the type of briquettes that is used,
the ambient air temperature and the
weather. As a basic rule, it is better to
start with few briquettes and to add
some more if necessary.
To ensure an even heat, you should turn the lid
regularly every 10 to 20 minutes. After ca. 50 -
60 minutes it is advisable to replace the briquet-
tes with new ones.

WARRANTY

Under proper use, a warranty period of two years
will apply to your Petromax Dutch Oven from the
date of purchase. If you cannot properly use your
Petromax Dutch Oven due to a defect in material
or manufacturing, you are entitled to a warranty
repair. Contact your dealer for that purpose.
